What’s the most memorable date you’ve had?
On my way to meet a new client for a happy hour date, my high heel snapped right off in the middle of the sidewalk. One second I was walking along with a smile, listening to Wu-Tang Clan and getting psyched for my date, and the next I was hobbling, taking the smallest steps I could to salvage what was left of my dignity. I was determined to make it!
I tried to walk into the bar like nothing had happened, but my date caught on right away. Instead of laughing (or running), he smiled, offered his arm like a gentleman, and suggested we skip the drinks and go fix my “little problem.”
We wandered into a cute boutique a few blocks away. I tried on heels, he gave shockingly good opinions, and we laughed like we’d known each other for more than ten awkward minutes. I left with the cutest pair of red sandals—and a first date that went completely off script in the best possible way.

What’s one thing clients are always surprised to learn about you?
Probably how well-traveled and adventurous I am. I like to think I come across as pretty put together, but I’m definitely not afraid to rough it. I spent about eight months backpacking all over Europe and parts of Africa with no real itinerary—just soaking up every moment. Let’s just say I have some unforgettable stories involving a rental car and a rocky, less-traveled road in Morocco. A dream of mine is to scooter my way through Vietnam.
What’s the hottest spot in Chicago for date night?
That’s such a hard question because honestly, Chicago is a total playground for an unforgettable time—there’s just so much to do! I recently had dinner at Oriole in the West Loop, and it might be my new obsession. It’s just that good. Kumiko is next on my list for the summer. I’ve been dying to go; it just seems like the perfect spot for a stiff drink and a little adventure.
I also love mixing it up with a concert at the Symphony Center to see the CSO, or catching something dramatic at the Lyric Opera. And let’s be real—it wouldn’t be a Chicago summer without a night game at Wrigley Field. A Cubs game and a Chicago-style hot dog? Say no more.
What’s your go-to song when getting ready for a date?
Speaking of Wu-Tang Clan, my favorite song to get pumped up to is “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nothin ta F Wit.” When I’m not listening to classical music, I love to get deep into ‘90s hip hop.
You wake up tomorrow with a superpower. What is it and how would you use it?
Teleportation, no question. Morning pain au chocolat in Paris, eaten on a beach in Bali, followed by an afternoon stroll through Kyoto? Count me in.
Now, would I use it for evil? Not exactly. But I definitely wouldn’t resist popping up out of nowhere to spook my friends or pull a few harmless pranks. A little mischief never hurt anyone!
What do you like to do for fun?
I’ve always had a deep love for literature. There’s nothing quite like getting lost in a good book, and I love checking out the locally owned bookstores around the city. When I’m not cozied up with a story, you’ll probably find me at one of Chicago’s historic theaters, watching everything from the latest releases to classic films.
One of the best parts about living in Chicago is the incredible food scene. Whether it’s a hidden hole-in-the-wall taqueria or the newest James Beard Award–winning restaurant, I’m always up for trying something new.
Lately, I’ve also gotten into weightlifting. I’ve always enjoyed trying different classes, but recently I’ve been working out with more intention—and it’s been so satisfying and motivating to see what I’m capable of in the gym.

If you were writing a handbook for clients, what would be rule #1?
I absolutely adore my clients and feel so lucky to be treated with such kindness and respect! That said, I do have a few small preferences. While I’ll always do my best to see you as soon as I can, my schedule tends to fill up quickly—so last-minute requests can be tricky. When booking a date, a little planning goes a long way if you want to spend some quality time together. I always appreciate when clients book with notice.
And for my lovely newcomers, having screening info ready helps everything flow smoothly—so we can skip the formalities and get right to the good part.
If you could have dinner with any historical person who would it be and why?
I would love to have dinner with James Baldwin. His writing is so powerful, poetic, and deeply human. I really connect with his worldview and the way he spoke about justice, identity, and empathy. He didn’t just call for change—he made people feel the need for it. I’d love to hear his thoughts on the world today.
On a lighter note, it would be interesting to grab cocktails with Hemingway in Paris—just to see where the night might go.
Finish this sentence: “Booking a date with me is like…”
Silk, sparks, and a little bite. 😉
Let’s create an unforgettable story together—one filled with laughter.
