In fact, some of my most wonderful connections have been with gentlemen who were relatively new to all of this.<\/p>\n<p>What they had in common was something much simpler: communication, reliability, respect, and intention.<\/p>\n<h3>It Begins With the Introduction<\/h3>\n<p>I\u2019ve always thought the way someone introduces himself tells me quite a bit about how he\u2019ll show up in person.<\/p>\n<p>I prefer to be approached as a courtesan\u2014a woman whose time, company, conversation, sensuality, and presence are being intentionally sought.<\/p>\n<p>Tell me a little about yourself. Tell me what drew you to me. Give me a glimpse of the gentleman I may soon be sharing a few wonderfully uninterrupted hours with.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t need to be an essay or an elaborate performance. A thoughtful introduction simply says, I see the woman behind the photographs, and I\u2019m interested in meeting her.<\/p>\n<p>That distinction means something to me.<\/p>\n<h3>Communication Is Seductive<\/h3>\n<p>Good communication may not sound terribly romantic, but I find it incredibly attractive.<\/p>\n<p>Clear plans. Thoughtful questions. Following through when you say you will. Letting me know if something changes rather than disappearing into the ether.<\/p>\n<p>Reliability creates trust, and trust creates relaxation. When neither of us is wondering what the other person is doing, we can save all that energy for the part that\u2019s actually fun: anticipation.<\/p>\n<h3>Leave Yesterday at the Door<\/h3>\n<p>Many people come into this world carrying a story.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps you\u2019ve had an uncomfortable experience with another provider. Maybe you\u2019ve encountered someone unreliable, felt misled, or had a screening experience that left you hesitant to do it again.<\/p>\n<p>I can respect that without accepting the responsibility for someone else\u2019s behavior.<\/p>\n<p>In return, I promise you the same courtesy.<\/p>\n<p>After nearly a decade of meeting people from every imaginable walk of life, I have certainly had experiences that taught me to be careful. But when you arrive, I don\u2019t want to treat you as though you are the difficult client who came before you.<\/p>\n<p>You deserve the opportunity to be yourself with me, and I ask for the same in return.<\/p>\n<p>Trust doesn\u2019t require naivety. It simply means allowing a new person to begin with a clean page.<\/p>\n<h3>Screening Is Part of the Courtship<\/h3>\n<p>This one is non-negotiable: screening is required.<\/p>\n<p>Not because I assume something is wrong with you. Not because I\u2019m trying to invade your private life. And certainly not because I don\u2019t understand the importance of discretion.<\/p>\n<p>I understand it intimately.<\/p>\n<p>I am meeting someone I have never met before in a very private setting. Safety is paramount, and responsible screening is what allows me to enter our time together feeling comfortable, relaxed, and fully present.<\/p>\n<p>A wonderful client understands this.<\/p>\n<p>He doesn\u2019t make screening adversarial. He doesn\u2019t take a safety boundary personally or expect me to abandon it to prove that I trust him. He recognizes that discretion and verification can coexist\u2014and that my willingness to protect myself is part of what allows me to provide the experience he came looking for.<\/p>\n<h3>The Best Clients Make It Feel Mutual<\/h3>\n<p>The gentleman I adore seeing again is communicative. Reliable. Respectful of my boundaries and my time.
